Meet Your Chambers Plan Advisor For Ajax Pickering Board of Trade and Whitby Chamber of Commerce
Megan joined the HMA team in 2022 as an Employee Benefits Consultant. She has since become the exclusive advisor for the Chambers Group Insurance Plan for the Ajax Pickering Board of Trade and the Whitby Chamber of Commerce. She is passionate about helping small and medium sized businesses provide their employees with comprehensive, competitive, and cost-effective benefits packages.
Megan’s connection to the local Chambers and Boards of Trade started long before she became a Chamber Plan advisor. Upon starting her career as an independent Financial Advisor, she utilized the programming offered by these organizations to network with others in the community and to grow her business by forming meaningful relationships with the other members. It was through the Chamber that she was introduced to HMA, and it was at a Chamber event that the opportunity for her current position was shared with her.

What’s your favourite hobby or pastime?
In the summer I love being outdoors. Camping, hiking, biking, and kayaking are my favourite activities.
What’s your favourite type of food or cuisine?
Italian food would take the top spot, but I can’t say no to a good burger or taco!
What’s a place you have always wanted to visit?
I have always wanted to go to Ireland and hope to get there someday soon.
What is something that you have always wanted to learn but haven’t yet?
I have always wanted to get into photography above and beyond snapping photos with my phone.
What is your favourite way to spend a day off?
Doing something fun with my friends and family. I like to get out of the house and spend time with my favourite people.
